[NAIJA NEWS] GEEZ!!!! Man Arrested For Killing His Neighbour Over Goat In Ogun

Kolawole Akinsanya has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for his alleged involvement in orchestrating an attack with thugs that led to the death of his neighbor, Lukmon Ajibola, in Ilepa, Ifo Local Government Area.

The tragic incident unfolded on February 5 around 8 pm when Akinsanya’s goat entered Ajibola’s compound and consumed dried yams.

In response, Akinsanya reportedly beat the baby goat to death. When Ajibola confronted him about this, an argument ensued, and Akinsanya allegedly summoned hoodlums who assaulted Ajibola.

Found lying motionless, Ajibola was rushed to Zion Hospital in Ilepa and later transferred to the State Hospital in Otta, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Akinsanya was subsequently arrested by the police, while the accomplices fled the community. Confirming Akinsanya’s arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, assured ongoing efforts to apprehend the remaining suspects.
